This weekend I was making the kids lunch, cutting their fruit into hearts and stars and I started thinking about all my kitchen must-haves! Looking around I realized there were a lot!
Now, I feel like I spend 90% of my day in the damn kitchen. I know I’m not alone in feeling this. So naturally, It really only makes sense that us moms are passionate about kitchen products.
I started making a quick list on my phone of all my favorite gadgets and products. Truthfully, I spend too much time on Amazon but it kind of worked in my favor this time. All of these products and gadgets can easily be found right on Amazon.

Amazon Kitchen Gadget Must Haves
1. Silicone Baking Mats
First up, these bad boys! If you don’t use baking mats yet, you need to! These are seriously a game changer and for way more than just baking cookies. I use these to line my baking sheets literally every time I use them. They make cleaning up so damn easy and I don’t need to use as much, if any, oil! I love, love, love these!
2. Chopper
Okay, this chopper is amazing! I only somewhat recently bought this a couple months ago and I love it so much! It has a grater, dicer, spriralizer and a slicer all in one. Its easy to use, comes with an organizer/container for the 5 different blades and cleared up space for me by replacing a couple other gadgets.
3. Shape Cutters
Your little ones will love these! We do special lunches on Fridays and I use these on their fruit and veggies. It adds a little something extra to an otherwise boring lunch. These are perfect for adorable Bento lunches too!
3. Silicone Baking Cups
These are such a staple in our home! Silicone baking cups are used for way more than just baking! They make the perfect little cups for sauces and dips. We also use them to contain foods like grapes from rolling around on a plate thats not divided. Additionally, these make the perfect cup holders in the car for easy clean up and so much more but I won’t bore you since this is about the kitchen haha
4. Non-Slip Mixing Bowls
So, I’m that parent who willing will open my pots and pan drawer and hand my kids spoon and let them bang around while I’m cooking. I know, I know. Oh well. Anyway, my youngest got a little crazy and cracked my cheap, plastic mixing bowls so I found these! Sturdy, have air tight lids and the best part? The non-slip bottom! My daughter loves cooking and baking with me and these have been so great for her (and me if I’m being honest haha)!
5. Egg Molds
Yes, this is a totally “extra” product but they’re so fun! You can probably tell by now that I love finding ways to make food fun for my little ones and this is another great way. These are for rice or eggs but I cant figure out the trick to get them perfect with rice. For the eggs, the trick is to place them in the molds while they’re still hot/very warm. If you give them an ice bath first they don’t hold the shape as well.
6. Popsicle & Ice Cream Holders
A while back I remember those ice pop holders being so popular and while searching for them I found these too! These are great because they hold any kind of treat on a popsicle stick. You can also hold ice cream cone with them. They’re super great for keeping the mess to a minimum but also.. I don’t have to hear “will you hold this for me!?” a million damn times with these! That alone makes this worth it for me! haha
7. Sandwich Cutters
Okay, last kid’s lunch gadget, I promise! Every mom needs fun sandwich cutters.. It’s a no-brainer! I was looking for the link to the same ones I have but I found this, which I think is perfect! This comes with a couple sandwich cutters, some shape cutters, picks, and stretch off messages. Basically, this is the ultimate lunch box making kit!
8. Crinkle Cutter
If you have little ones who love to help out in the kitchen, this is a must. This crinkle cutter is perfect for little hands and adds a fun wave. This is actually how I got my 2 year old to finally like cucumber. I let him slice them all on his own with this (with me watching of course!) and then he enjoyed lining them up just right to stack them. A great and inexpensive tool!

9. Reusable Baggies
This is kind of self explanatory but if you haven’t hopped on the bandwagon of reusable baggies – you need to! These specific ones are not dishwasher or microwave safe but they are much cheaper than the ones that are. If you’re iffy about whether you think you’ll like reusable baggies, I think this is a good place to start so you’re not throwing away money. The “really good” ones can be pretty costly but are definitely worth it if you decide you like them!
10. Learning Tower
Have you ever heard of a learning tower? It’s a very common tool within the Montessori community used to help little ones in the kitchen! The only downside to this is it’s huge. It’s basically massive and will take up too much space if you have a smaller kitchen. Otherwise, this great tool brings children right up counter height to be able to easily help out and get involved. Safer than having kids balance on a barstool and better than a short step stool that doesn’t get them high up enough.
11. Phone Stand
Next Amazon kitchen must have – a simple phone stand! This is so inexpensive, it’s completely silly not to have one! I’m always either listening to music, a podcast or watching YouTube while I cook. I hated always having to prop my phone up against a cup or the backsplash so I really don’t know why it took me so long to buy this. If you like watching videos or pull up recipes from Pinterest a lot, you need this. Trust me – a simple game changer!
12. Alexa – Amazon Kitchen Must Haves
I feel like everyone has an Echo of some sort by now. If you only get one, get one for your kitchen! That’s where I use mine the most. Setting timers, playing music, announcing when dinner is ready, I use it for all the things!
13. Child Proof Magnets
Alright, these are hands down the best child proofing products out there! We used too many different child locks before finding these and I hated them all. They are broke super easily, were a pain the ass to open or left ugly screw holes. These do NONE of that nonsense. They’re hidden, they’re strong and they’re convenient! They even come with this cool little tool that makes installing them such a breeze and fool proof. I love, love, love these!
14. Cookbook stand
How adorable is this cookbook stand? So cute, stylish and functional! I think everyone needs a good cookbook stand in their kitchen. It doubles as a useful tool and a decor item.

15. Scrub Daddy
If you only buy one thing from this list, please let it be this!! I cannot tell you how much I love, love, love these sponges! They have a cult following for a good reason, they are seriously the best! They don’t stain, they don’t get smelly, they clean everything so easily it’s really like magic. I cannot rave about these enough and will probably die if they ever stop selling them. I don’t remember the last time I had to scrub and scrub a pan or anything, these are just that great!
16. Foldable Drying Rack
If you’re anything like me and cannot stand clutter, you need this! I hate the look of a big, bulky drying rack so I never bought one. I always just dried my dishes right away which is fine and a good habit I suppose but it’s also a pain in the ass. It took me too damn long to find this and now I love it! We have a dishwasher but I don’t like running my pots and pans through it and we have a few cups and bamboo plates that aren’t dishwasher safe. This is so nice to have for days when I don’t have time to dry anything or am simply too tired. I easily roll it up when I’m done and store it in my drawer, completely out of sight!
17. Bar Keepers Friend
My not-so-secret, secret weapon in the kitchen – Bar Keepers Friend! This stuff is great for just about anything and everything in the kitchen! Easily cleans the stove, makes sinks shiny, and restores baking pans and cookware! I use this the most in the kitchen but I also use it in the bathrooms too. An overall amazing product & cleaning essential!

18. Pull Out Trash Bag
This may seem silly but it’s a game changer! I tend to cut up a bunch of fruit and veggies all at once so that they’re easily ready to eat whenever. This makes it so much easier! I’m not worried about creating a trash pile or pulling the entire trash can out, I just hook this to a cabinet or drawer and attach a trash or grocery bag. It’s one of those things that you don’t really need but once you have it you’ll become spoiled and won’t want be able to go back without it haha!

19. Cord Bundler
Did you know these existed? Why aren’t these more popular??? You need cord bundlers! Get those annoying, ugly cords out of the way and make your space and counters look so much cleaner! These are perfect to attach to the back of your stand mixer, your instant pot, crock pot, etc! Ugh, you just need them.
20. Salt and Pepper Container
Yes. Yes, this is a must have. Hush. Hahaha I’m totally kidding but really I just wanted to add this in here because I love it that much. Everyone who sees it always asks about it and wants one themselves. It’s a glorified salt and a pepper holder, basically. I keep it out on my counter because its pretty but also, it’s very convenient. It makes measuring out salt super quick and easy while making you feel fancy at the same time.
21. Drawer Utensil Organizer
The ultimate drawer space saver right here! I seriously wonder why this wasn’t the original design for a utensil holder. It just makes so much more sense! You’ll have to click on the link to get a better idea of how it works but really, you’ll save so much more room!
22. A Good Storage Set
Alright, this is definitely an investment but I really believe it’s worth it. I can’t bring myself to drop the money to buy the giant set (even though I know it would save me money in the long run) but I’m slowly getting there. I’m tackling all my baking goods first and I really can’t tell you enough how much better it is. Bags of sugar and flour are messy and take up a lot of space. Having nice, clear containers makes it easier to measure things out, keeps them fresher and is visually appealing.
23. Pantry Organizers
Organizing your pantry will give you new life! I swear it! I really didn’t understand the hype behind basically putting boxes in bigger boxes and it still pretty much taking up the same amount of space but boyyy, I was wrong. Put boxes in bigger boxes. Just do it. My dumbass didn’t realize that it would make everything so much easier to access. Plus, it’s very aesthetically pleasing!
