Delivery Workers Goodie Basket FREE printable!

Hi friends,
It’s the holiday season and all of our local mail carriers are hard at work trying to deliver all of our packages, gifts and cards in time! They are working long hours and delivering many packages for us so why not extend our gratitude with a small way to say thank you! Putting together a goodie basket for the mail workers is such an easy and simple way to lift their spirits!

Our main mailman is a man named Ken and he’s honestly the best.. he goes over and beyond. From the first week we moved in and started receiving mail, he introduced himself to us & has always been extra careful with our packages. He’s always a smiling face eager to wave hello whenever we see him in passing. I don’t mean to brag but I think he’s probably the best mail carrier out there! ? We definitely wanted to make him and our other delivery workers smile so we put together this “thank you basket” of sorts..

We used just a small empty storage bin and filled it with..
  1. Water bottles cause you gotta stay hydrated!
  2. Coca Cola because it’s a Christmas time staple! We opted for bottles instead of cans as well so they don’t have to worry about spilling it in the car
  3.  A few different types of chips for their choosing
  4. Nature valley sweet & salty granola bars
  5. Little Debbie’s Christmas cakes because.. who doesn’t love those?!

Some other good options might be fruit snacks, mini popcorn bags, candy bars, candy canes, beef jerky or cookies!

I made a quick little sign to let them know the goodies are for them.. you can download it here for free!

A few helpful ideas:
  1. Add in a few allergy friendly choices
  2. Laminate your sign so it doesn’t get crinkled and gross by the wind
  3. Set up the box somewhere it can stay dry
  4. Don’t forget to bring your box in at night
  5. Put it in an obvious spot for them
  6. If your mailbox is out by the street consider putting the treat for them in the box itself
Make sure you download the free printable here!
